A Proper Account Review, Not a Surface Scan

A lot of "free audits" are a one-page PDF with generic advice. This is a thorough review of your actual account with specific findings and actionable recommendations tied to your setup.

🏗️

Campaign Structure

How your campaigns and ad groups are organised, whether the structure makes sense for your goals and budget, and where restructuring would improve control and performance.

🔑

Keywords & Match Types

Keyword coverage, match type balance, search term reports for irrelevant traffic and negative keyword gaps. This is often where the biggest wasted spend is found.

💸

Wasted Spend Analysis

Identifying specific queries, placements, audiences or time periods consuming budget without delivering results — with clear numbers on what is being lost.

📊

Conversion Tracking

Whether your conversions are set up correctly, whether there are duplicates inflating numbers, and whether the data feeding your bidding strategy is actually accurate.

⚙️

Bidding Strategy

Whether your current bidding approach is appropriate for your budget and conversion volume, and whether Smart Bidding has enough data to work properly or is flying blind.

✏️

Ad Copy & Assets

Ad copy quality, asset coverage, pinning usage, RSA performance and whether your ad copy is actually aligned with what users are searching for and what your landing pages deliver.

Simple Process, No Disruption to Your Account

Getting an audit done is straightforward. No changes are made to your account during the review — you stay in full control throughout.

1

Get in touch

Send a message via the contact form or email. Include a brief description of your account — industry, monthly ad spend, main campaign types — so the audit can be scoped correctly.

2

Grant read-only access

You add ryan@ryanparkes.co.nz as a read-only user in your Google Ads account settings. No changes can be made with read-only access — your account settings, campaigns and billing are safe.

3

Receive your written report

Within 3 to 5 business days you receive a written audit report covering findings across all key areas — with specific, prioritised recommendations rather than a generic checklist.

4

Walk through the findings

A 30-minute call to walk through the report, answer questions and discuss priorities. From there, you can implement changes yourself, use your existing team, or discuss ongoing management — no pressure either way.

Common Questions About the Audit

What does the Google Ads audit cover? +
The audit reviews campaign structure, keyword strategy and match types, search term reports for wasted spend, ad copy and asset quality, audience and targeting settings, bidding strategy configuration, conversion tracking accuracy, Quality Scores, impression share and budget allocation. You receive a written report with specific, prioritised recommendations — not a generic checklist.
Is the audit actually free? +
Yes, no strings attached. If the findings suggest you could benefit from ongoing management, that will be covered in the report and discussed on a follow-up call — but there is no obligation and no pressure to proceed with anything. The report is yours to keep and use however you like.
How long does the audit take? +
Most audits are delivered within 3 to 5 business days from when account access is granted. Larger accounts with multiple campaigns, many products or complex structures may take a day or two longer. You will receive a written report with findings and recommendations.
Do you need full access to my account? +
Read-only access is all that is needed. You can grant this via Google Ads account settings under Access and Security. No changes are made to your account during the audit without your explicit instruction. If you prefer, you can export reports and share them manually instead of granting access.
What happens after the audit? +
You receive your written report and we have a short call to walk through the findings. From there, you decide what to do next — implement the changes yourself, hand the report to your existing agency or team, or discuss having Ryan Parkes Consulting take on ongoing management. There is no pressure and the report is yours regardless.
